Many of the Peltor style ear cups are effectively interchangeable but it's not easy to swap them without damaging something. I've found the black plastic slide outers to be almost impossible to remove from the cups. It's actually easier to remove the slide outers from the wire, although the wires have swaged ends so tend to stretch the tight end of the outer. A little heat helps. This is either perfectly clear or a collection of random words.

Pat - I'm thinking of something similar. How about a quad bike diff with one output fixed...
-
Michael - glad you got yourself doing the hanger rat thing!

Just finished installing an SMH10r Bluetooth intercom in my Icaro helmet ear cups. First test was pairing and streaming of music and making phone calls with my IPhone over Bluetooth. It's very good indeed!
Next test will be the claimed 900m range Bluetooth intercom flying with a buddy. Will keep you posted.

Lots of chaps round here love Dickies waterproof/windproof padded overalls for flying. £50 and toasty.

Do you think they'd fit in the Cameleon Simon?

I find some thin windproof gloves to be warmer than thicker ones a lot of the time but what do folk find best for flying in the winter?

PT- good point, hadn't thought about it from a two stroke perspective, so it is a boxer. Looks bloody smooth in the vid.
-
No, from the reciprocating mass of the piston/conrod
-
PT, do you think it's a true boxer? Doesn't look long enough in the crank for the extra journal.. If not it could vibrate more than a single.
-
I wouldn't take the chance and run that near anybody.

I want to touch it, feel it, hear it and smell it.

Very sad.

Love it!

Hi Daniel
Look-up Sky School - they're in the UK at the moment but do most of their training at a very nice airfield in Spain. A long way north of you I'm afraid, Catalunia, but might suit you. I believe they train on Parajet gear which is the very good kit.
