  1. I'm after a light weight paramotor for my dad to use to get his confidence on. He finds my pap on the heavy side and wants something that's light and runs that isn't expensive to buy or repair?

Is there any such thing? Maybe an older model?

And has any one got a dusty old banger tucked in the back of the shed?

I want to stress it's not wanted as a seriouse flying machine. Just a training aid for a few hops up the field.

    Thanks peeps.

  2. Definatly worth a look. The tips are repairable I think but it's the crack across the middle I'm worried about. Might just be the gel coat but could be deeper. Needs a trained eye on it.

  3. Ok bud. It's a pap ros 125.

    Prop numbers are H30F 1.15m R-L-10-2 set 4

Don't know what numbers you need so that's everything written on it.

I'm on the barracudas page so which ever way is best to contact me.

Some pics to share the damage!!

  4. Ye my dad is the reason I got the paramotor as I couldn't afford it on my own. The deal was I learnt to fly then at each him so he could just experience it. Every thing went to plan then he lost his footing while running under power and hey ho new prop!

Is the prop something that can be "upgraded" in terms of performance or is it a standard thing that must not be played with. I know there is a fine balance between motor and prop but didn't know how fine?

  5. Anyone got any secrets on the best place to get a prop for a pap ros 125. It's 115cm carbon fibre for a 1250 cage. Sky dragons are quoting £325. Before I part with that much dough I just want to make sure that's the going rate.

    Thanks peeps.

  6. Like it dan.

No doubt the first time someone said they want to fly under a bit of fabric with no structure, and do so by strapping a big fan on their back, they were shunned and questioned.

Without these peeps we would posting on a knitting forum!!

Ye it's dangerouse but some people only feel alive when they risk not being!

Every one on this forum is half way there anyway as 75% of people I've spoken to about my flying (just flying a paramotor with no tricks or stunts) think I'm crazy.

As long as they can at worst only hurt them selves then let the fun beggin!

Ps. I'd like to see the vid
