just introducing myself - I've been paragliding for a year, including the SIV course with Jockey Sanderson in Turkey, which was superb. However, my heart is with powered flight, so I'm hoping to get out and about in Shropshire (live just to the north of the Shawbury MATZ). If anyone's close to me, it would be great to meet up and discuss kit, locations, etc, and I'll be going over to Parafest in a couple of weeks too.

are you still at Shawbury? I'm posted back (having had many hours at said field in Gazelles, Wessex, Squirrels and Griffins over the years) but OC Ops is tied by RAF-wide bureaucracy, so no chance there... I am looking for suitable sites close to Wem, but thought I would check here before knocking on farmers doors with bottles of whiskey...
