  1. Ok I understand and thanks for the good advice but my original question was....would it be safe to fly in cold weather with a clear blue sky and calm winds at this time of year in Scotland?

I am a newbie and to be honest I don't mind being bumped around a little. In fact I quite enjoy the ride.as long as I don't drop and hit the ground before I'm ready to land ;)

  2. Ok, I'm a newbie to the sport and in training in Spain was always told we can't fly through the day because of thermals.

Can someone tell me if it's ok to fly on a cool blue sky day in Scotland like today between 11am and 5pm or if not why not?

  3. Bloody'ell!

I guess it's only a matter of time before someone shuts him up in court. But I get the feeling from his vids that he aint EVER going to shut up.

A single post and and I think I owe the site a donation.

Cheers people and I cant wait to get flying!

  4. Ahhhh cheers for that...I did wonder about his ego etc before you mentioned it LOL

If anyone knows of any problems with the kit I'm going to be training with can they give me a shout please? Otherwise I just have to go to Portugal and do this.

I guess if my trainer hasn't killed himself yet then it must be half decent kit he's using.

    Safe flying all!

ps. I love the flying smiley's lol :dive:

  5. Hi all

Can anyone give advise on these guys above?

I just booked 2 weeks training in Portugal and now I've been told by "Dell" in the USofA they are the worst and their equipment is the worst!!

Can anyone tell me what they think of the company and equipment??????

I think I've just blown 500 quid so far :(
