Just now, Lawson said:
Hi All,
Extremely cleverly, I sheared the end off the reduction magnetic bolt at the bottom of the gearbox where the oil gets drained. Putting it back on, I guess i over-tightened (don't know my own strength...). So now I have the end shared off, stuck in the gearbox. Any smart ideas on what to do next please?
Many thanks

has anyone flipped from a Miniplane Top 80 to a baileys hornet 2? Thinking about it but would be good to know someone who has switched.
Cheers,

Hi guys, so I've had a Miniplane Top 80 for the last four years (when I started flying PM): all excellent, happy bunny. I'm now getting itchy and thinking about what next ... Bailey's Hornet 2 is one thing someone suggested to scratch my itch. Has anyone got any views / done this switch? I've found it difficult to get the full spec of the BH2 to compare. Cheers, Lawson

H - just came back from Spain here I saw a trike paramotor and it titillated me, so to speak. I currently fly a Eurostar microlight and have done so for the last 10 years. But the thought of taking off from my own small field is very appealing. So I guess my questions are:
- I looked into paramotoring a couple of years ago and was put off by being told that it is difficult to fly against any wind greater than 5knts; you would have to fly downwind and someone would have to follow you... Hwever, the trike chap was flying in stronger winds than that: I am now confused: what winds can you fly in?
- what conversion process should I undergo?
Ay other pointers would be greatly received
Many thanks for reading this and even more if you reply!
