{Is there a correlation between the membership of that pack and the grammar and spelling of posts}
No it's got more to do with bad schooling actually.. and if it bothers you that much look up Mr Hill and take it up with him

Would you tandam with this man, note leg straps are undone for all attempts and flight very proffesional.......
I rest my case!!!!
Jesus whoever that was on the tadem was lucky the guy didn't drop right out the bottom!! That would put me off for life!

Umm.. Fried iPhone, don't like the sound of that much!
For the phone I think USB could be best as it's regulated 5v?? Still fused though.
Those connectors look good for the gloves what do i need to regulate the voltage ? And what size fuse do you think ?

I want to add 1 or 2 auxiliary power plugs to my Macro for my phone (memory map kills the battery!) and possibly heated gloves in the winter. Not sure what sort of plug to use, do I use a modified car cigarette lighter plug or add a few usb sockets to the side (ok for phone but 5v won't run the gloves)?
I already run a micro avionics strobe so slightly concerned that battery/charging won't be able cope with added load??
Any suggestions?

Thanks Alan, It's for my Macro

I think I will be doing the same.

Is that the recognised way of learning to swoop...
Keep crashing into a lake until you get it right?? (or die )

Well I used just over a litre in 20 minutes so massive improvement in efficiency!!
That bearing must have been dodgy since I've had it hardly any revs to sustain level flight too!
May be worth adding it to your 5/10 hour check, Take the belt off and spin the prop to check for resistance (not trying to teach granny to suck eggs here!! )

Does anyone know where I can get a poly v belt cheaper than £30+postage??
It's Pj508/200J EL made by Contitech, had a scout on google but can't find them.
Yes I know I'm tight

1, I'm not middle aged
2, I agree with some of what has been posted on this thread, but not the way you posted on the news papers website, that was destructive to the sport of paramotoring in the uk (however you justify it).
3, You DO NOT represent me as a paramotor pilot and I ask you to stop trying.
I think it is a shame we don't have a "British paramotor aircraft association" to represent us.

I forgot this is a working mens' club of the lowest order.
Is that a compliment ??

I agree Training should be mandatory as should wing registration..... but at what cost?
I would love a microlight but £££££

Stuart,
Apart from having to use more revs to sustain level flight I noticed no change what so ever.
However now I have changed the bearings and made a stainless centre section for my prop hub (slight weight penalty ) I have a massive increase in thrust (30 % approx !!)
Hopefully I will be slightly more fuel efficient now

Vimeo for sure, it's like youtube but looks better and has less rubbish. The staff picks and hd channel are worth a look.
I have to use the Vimeo desktop uploader as my internet connection is at best rubbish, at worst unusable!! hence another new user name for me! (something to do with to many ip addresses causing me to get blocked (again))

Francis, when the sport is regulated and I can no longer afford to fly, I hope you will be happy that you have ruined the sport for all but the privileged few with the resources to afford it.
(I fly in a safe manner, I fly safe equipment, I had excellent training, I am insured)

The weight rage for the R80 is from 50-74kg's so not really suitable, unless you really enjoy running
