That's the issue you don't get a fair evaluation of the quality what you get on these site's, people only want to push the gear they are selling most of the time, one reply on here was a blatant out and out lie about test flying Sunglider, so as to try and discredit Sunglider, they have threatened to sue him for his comments, and yes I am the UK main dealer for the Sunglider it has a full DHV rating and the LTF 1-2, I would be more than happy to send you the letter from Sunglider they sent to the fool who made negative comments on here and invite you to try one.

I am sorry but I don't understand the logic behind what you are saying, I own a Rolex but it tells the same time as timex, I cant see what you mean not every thing that is "cheap" or at a fair price is poor quality, you would be very surprised if you were to find out who Sunglider manufacture for, 2 very well known paragliders, so make your own mind up but don't over pay.

That has to be the best reply to a posting I have ever read flymeccuk test flying Sunglider lol I think NOT what an idiot, Humberside police has been to see him about slanderous comments he seems to continue to make however Humberside police will be informed once again, please look at the misuse of communications act before you start making silly comments. I have a letter from Sunglider stating the truth about Flymeccuk and their comments about them test flying the wings and showing what liar's these people are, if you would like a copy please email me and I would be happy to send it on to you.

Normally I would remove them, however I need people to see them so when we go to full production they will be already known and I hope every one out there will also know we will be reliable and supply at a very competitive rate

I'm on 40-1 and have bags of power, what size prop are you spinning ? and is it a genuine Aerobat ?
Hi Dan I have been running an Aerobat prop but just changed it for one I have brought in from China (just as a trial yesterday) and the thrust improved dramatically, however the wind was a steady 4-5 which may have helped, I will be testing again over this weekend I have also changed my wing to a new Rev 26 which again may have helped, I have put my Aerobat back on so will se what happens

Does anyone insure there paramotor kit?
If so, how do you go about doing it?
Cheers,
Josh.
On Risk 08000439342 really 1st class company

Tried TP props in thailand with no reply so far.
do you have a website for this Teeserak?
Colin B
I have used TP props in the past and he is very good at what he does, however I have spoken to his sister and he is in prison (or so she says), he has been saying negative things about the Thai king, so thats why you have not had any reply to your emails

I have a new (10 hr use) H & E 120 I am running it on 40-1, does every one run theirs on 40-1 or 50-1 after??? Hrs, my reason for asking is that it seems as if its doesn’t have as much thrust as I thought it should have!! And I thought if I used 50-1 it may improve its performance, any one got any advice please.
Hi Trev.
I've had 2 H&E R120's and have done 300 hours ish on them. Ive always used 35-1 as recommended by them. If you run it at 50-1 it will seize on you. The H&E engines are very tight when new they run very hot so do not be tempted to run it lean. Keep an eye on the rubber exhaust mount neares the exhaust port as it may get hot, melt and break. I had to put washers between the exhaust and the rubber mount to provide space / cooling.
Good luck mate.
Whitters.
Thanks we must think alike I have also put some washers between the exhaust and the mounts, how long did your engine take to slacken off?
Trev

Yeah I know what you mean, but it just seems a little under powered I thought the mix was a bit rich but not to worry maybe when the engine slackens off it may produce a little more power.
Thanks any way (you back flying yet)

Cornish Pixies taste lovely, they used to drop them down tin mines for the miners to catch and eat for their lunch. Hmmm, crunchy - the wings used to get stuck between their teeth. Then they would use a tooth pixel.
The weather is here, wish you were wonderful.
Dixlexia again.
PS: Pete B used to be an evil Pixel, but he reformed and is now a Hobble Goblin.
Picture taken last night just after midnite

ps where did you get that picture of my Mrs?
Careful what you say thats my younger sister lol

Kill switch guard
A very simple modification to the throttle to prevent accidental activation of the kill switch.
Consists of 2 cable ties-
The first one is placed over the top of the button in an inverted 'U' shape. the ends are trimmed and pushed done inside the sheath- a good inch or so on each side. Take care not to allow the top of the 'U' to touch the button. 1 or 2mm clearance is adequate.
Next place the other cable tie around the bottom of the 'U' piece, over the sheath. This will grip the base of the 'U' tightly and prevent it from slipping.
You will find that when you go to press the kill switch it will take more pressure to activate it- if you need to push down on the cable tie protector- the necessary increased force makes accidental activation less likely.
Get used to it first on the ground- make sure that it works before you fly.
Sometimes it can feel awkward- before you get used to it. You can solve this by 'using your head'- literally... Just push the switch off your helmet.
Almost all the guys over here in Ireland flying PAP and H&Es have done this mod.
Good enough idea however I have just cut half an inch of garden hose pipe and slotted it over the switch so it is just level with the top of the push button, works just fine

Hit the kill switch and could not restart
out of fuel once
Full twist in riser trapping brake line
Could not get in the harness
Weather turned for the worse
Flying midday in the summer
landing down wind
landing cross wind
And don't even get me started on take offs
Pete b
Id categorise these in 2 blocks-
Preventable/Non preventable
Preventable
Hit the kill switch and could not restart- modify killswitch, add a guard to prevent accidental activation- I'll post a pic of my H&E modification tomorrow
Out of fuel once- Flightplanning, regular checks, self explanitory
Full twist in riser trapping brake line- Preflight checks.... if in any doubt.. clip out and set up again
Could not get in the harness- check legstraps before flying. Hangtest if necessary
Flying midday in the summer- WTF!!!
landing down wind- WTF!
landing cross wind- WTF!
Unpreventable
Weather turned for the worse- Even the best forecasts can be inaccurate, or local conditions can be different- terrain, etc..
?
And don't even get me started on take offs
The guard pic would be good (I want to make one for my HE 120) I caught my kill switch twice now at low level but restarted thank god or send it to me script85@hotmail.com.
Cheers

I know Driffield well
You will know me as one of those annoying squddies from Leconfield driving around up there in small HGV's and Black Cars a few years back.
I think your best bet is to contact Paul haxby (Doncaster) which I know is a way but the closest I can reccomend.
WELCOME!!
SW
And what about the Paramotor pirates in Hull or do we have to dump you as well lol
That ok Simon I do understand I have spoken to you on several occasions about the instructor’s course (Trev Drury Hull) but you haven’t told me when or where it is going to take place

Hi Simon,
You have I assume seen comments from Flymecc uk, this is my point they will act like children to try and distract people when in actual fact they know nothing about the Sunglider, I have as I said passed the comments on to Sunglider who have sent a letter about the comments, so I ask how can this be a fair refection of something they know nothing about !!!!, I will say again cheap is not always sub standard and my point is that other's who know nothing about our sport pass comments when they don't have the full facts and not even seen a Sunglider.
