Simon,
I couldn't login via the 'login' link on the right.
I could login by clicking on another link (eg 'full members' link in orange on the home page).
Great that the site is back.
All the best from New York!
Gav.
Edited to add...
The 'renew subscriptions' link isn't working for me.... I'll check back in a while. Guess it may be associated with the recent problem?

Received & viewed!!
Wow... & ouch!!
Absolutely fantastic. What an effort by Colin & Sarn and all on the team.
Superb portrayal of a great adventure.
If you haven't already ordered one, you need to. As well as been a damn good watch, it's for a superb cause!
Thanks

Simon,
Could well be interested, depending upon dates & getting my currently dodgy knee fixed.
The last holiday was superb.

Gavin.

Malc,
Try calling Pennine Outdoor
I'm sure that they will have a zip to fit & might know of someone who can fit it for you.

Hi,
Some details Here
If you press the 'search' link (to the right of the page) & type in 'insurance', there are several other suggestions..
Hope that helps,
Regards, Gavin.

Apologies for my ignorance....
but is an 'Agama' some sort of flotation device for if your motor quits... or is it one of those fancy safety knives that you can use to cut through your lines to avoid getting tangled, if you ditch in the water??
Edited to add... looks like fun (if the motor doesn't stop...) & nice photos.
-
Gordon,
Here you go... Pennine Outdoor
You probably want the P4R on this page
It's a company that my mother set up about 40 years ago & sold about 15 years ago - should have every thing that you need!
Regards,
Gavin.

Just renewed my subscription... well worth it!

This may be useful to someone..... posted in this section for maximum exposure... (& copied from another forum...)
Do you have an iPod nano bought between 2005 and 2006 looking like the following sitting in a drawer somewhere?
If you do then Apple have just announced a replacement program for them due to some failures of the battery:
Dear iPod nano owner,Apple has determined that, in very rare cases, the battery in the iPod nano (1st generation) may overheat and pose a safety risk. Affected iPod nanos were sold between September 2005 and December 2006.
This issue has been traced to a single battery supplier that produced batteries with a manufacturing defect. While the possibility of an incident is rare, the likelihood increases as the battery ages.
Apple recommends that you stop using your iPod nano (1st gen) and follow the process noted below to order a replacement unit, free of charge.
Note: This battery issue is specific to the iPod nano (1st gen) and does not affect any other iPod.
Replacement Process
You may order a replacement unit via the web. Click here to begin.
Your iPod nano serial number will be checked to verify that it is eligible for this program. You will receive a replacement unit approximately 6 weeks after we receive your current iPod nano (1st gen).
If you have a personalized iPod nano, you will receive a non-personalized replacement. Make sure to use iTunes to back up any data on your current iPod nano before sending it in for a replacement unit.
Additional Information
Identifying an iPod nano (1st gen):
•
It has a black or white plastic front and a silver metal back - later iPod nano models have a metal front and back.
If you need assistance with placing an order, please visit an Apple Retail Store or an Apple Authorized Service Provider (AASP) and bring your iPod nano with you for serial number validation.
Your replacement iPod product is warranted to be free from defects for 90 days from the date of service.
Thank you for participating in this program.
Sincerely,
Apple

You could see if Pete B will make some mounts for the roof & lend you his Bulldog for when the batteries go flat...
-
Ouch...
Lucky the pole didn't land on him...
Thought the 'damage' would have been worse.

Maybe... depending on work & also school half term (11-19). Trying to get time off for both half term & a flying holiday (& still having time to do the necessary work) may be tricky!
The last 'Paramotor Holiday' was superb.

Cool !! That was quick... now if everyone who reads this can give some cash, it will really encourage the lads & help them exceed their target.
Don't put it off until later... please do it now!!
-
Simon,
How about also adding a link to the 'Just Giving' page so that those who like & admire what is being done can really show their support?
Regards,
Gavin.
