Its possible that your ISP is blocking all mails from the server that runs this forum. I'm not sure where its hosted but if some notorious spammers use the same host then it will get blocked.
I know aol block emails from here cause I had activation difficulties. As a by the by aol also block The Royal Bank of Scotland/Tesco Finance cause they send out too much spam!
