  1. Mdr says

And you saw all this yourself... (In the dark lol)

Lighted up wings are hard to miss on a dark night

It's gotta have been a UFO.... Flashing lights at night.. And of course no idiot/Fool pilots would have been good enough to be able to fly at night without hitting their own windsock...

So had to be a UFO....

Just Hope no one got anal probed!!!

  2. Anyone got a link to a good (well made) Rpm and Cht combined gauge unit.

Just returned my Brauniger IQ motor + unit and so now need a seperate item.

About the best unit I came across so far is the Polini DRS system.

    http://www.polini.com/en/page_547.html

But it is a meagre 165 Euro's PLUS 20% Vat!! About 199 Euro all in....

There seem to be lots of RPM units out there, but not many combined??

    Any ideas good folks?...

I"ve got one on my Zenith Thor200, it's doe's Temp, RPM, and Tach.. shame it didn't do fuel but still a great bit of kit,

  3. Thats my mind made up then...and they're only 40 mins up the road from me...

A no brainer really, but its always nice to have the opinions of others...

    :wingover:

NO BRAINER if i lived that close i think i would have to have my own coffee cup there!!!!!!!

That's funny cuz when I collected my Zenith from parajet, Jim gave me one of the Parajet coffee mugs... :D:D

Great Machine I opt for the Thor 200... it fly's great.. very smooth with great power delivery...

  4. Rigger has had some made for the macro.

If you contact him I'm sure he will give you the contact.

They was very good quality too.

Stevie, off subject, how are you finding the polini on a macro cage? Is it a 100 or 200 ?

I currently have a volution with the Parajet engine.

I was planing on upgrading to a zenith, but after spending a lot of time with pilots that have one I've been put off.

What is the 'true' dry weight of the macro with polini 200 with harness and prop ?

    Cheers

    C

Im the one that supplied Riggers

    :D

And great they are 2, wouldn't be without them... :D:D:D

  5. horses for courses mate, most people have a couple of motors before they really feel comfortable with a machine/brand, its no different than choosing a wing, get what YOU feel comfortable with, thats what counts.

Now if we're talkin wings then I love my Revo2... but I guess that's another thread... Lol

  6. Hi Guy's,

Need some help with wot radio to buy for my paramotor van I'm kitting out... Would like to use it as a base station when myself or the other guys are flying..

I fly with the great and reliable Yeasu VX-170 on 143.950 and would like a duel Band transceiver installed in the van with 50+ watts, so I can at least hear the guys transmitting... at far distance...

Any idea"s..... looking for something cheapish and reliable, also any idea's on antenna"s...

    Cheers Rigger :D
