  1. What hapened here then, pilot was ok but a bit bruised.

Could of been alot worse. There was zero wind and he only aplies brake to turn left, against the torque. Is this the reason for the stall.

The left hand side of the wing is at full reflex! the right hand side is fully closed, pulling that much brake in full reflex is what caused the wing to stall, I have done this myself, but I was on a small wing with a high loading and just flew round in a circle, in disbelief at how stupid I had been! I just pulled the trims back in and off I went..

  2. Here Here..

I for one also think that the wing producers should supply demos (if even only for a test week) or similar.

Dudek are good at this, and always say yes to a demo wing to me as a dealer in the past and present.

Paramania as a dealer I have always had to buy the demo wings and have been trying to fly a 20 Fusion for a year now.

    Apco, Watch this space

Producers need to understand the need for test flights and demo wings. The Synth is my best example of this, in that, I was given one, as a demo, and sold loads, after test flights.

The Fusion is the same but I am less happy about sending people up on it because its NOT a demo wing, it's my wing that I paid for like everyone else....

not asking you to weep of course LOL

But it is the way to sell wings, you would not pay £2300 for a car before a test drive would you?

    SW :D

Come down to weston! you can try my 20, its GREAT!!!

  3. Fair points all round...

I certainly wasnt suggesting the pilot was necessarily a PMC member...

And yes I guess I was blowing off a little steam. Just frustrates the hell out of me when people do this.

One of the best local flying sites to me at Brean Beach is now closed due to pilots low flying over the beach and refusing requests by the beach wardens to behave.

( although after a long friendly chat the beach warden did make a point of mentioning when there was no warden on duty off season ) :D

Oh dear, I,m afraid that was me as well! I flew their all through the winter, no problems! Then one day he just turned up, and told me it was not permitted, we had a few crossed words on the matter, and I left! In my defence, the only low flying I did, where two large circles, attempting to land.

    Regards, Danny.
