Guest Posted July 1, 2015 Share Posted July 1, 2015 All, Just a little reminder about this years PMC Summer fly-in on the 17th 18th and 19th of JULY. A Massive thanks to Henry (a fellow Paramotor Pilot and farmer) for inviting us!! Onsite we have: The same awesome food supplier as last year, with some exciting new ideas to add. A bar which will have real ale, wine, and fizzy larger for the kids. (Sarcasm) There is a well lit Marquee to replace the normal twin dome arrangement, offering a nicer space to gather in the evening. We have a central 'fire pit' which is over 1 meter round and about 2 foot deep. There will be 3KG of (fist sized) Marsh Mallow for you to cook over it (assuming we can get close enough!!) It would be great if some people could bring a few logs. I have some snarly bits that are un-splittable which will burn for hours but a couple of normal logs from a few of us will do it. There will be some Paintball target action (ground based) with a possible 'air to ground' target comp as well!! (subject to planning consent) Mike Chilvers 'Chilly' Is taking guided groups to the Cromer area which would be a great opportunity for people who want to fly cross country but would rather the company and guidance of a PMC instructor. Pre-arrival need to know, due to ground nesting birds around the Fly-in site the game keeper has understandably asked that dogs are not allowed on site this year. I am sorry about this, but I think we all care about nature enough and would hate to leave any sort of lasting mark on it just so we could have an epic weekend. Please make sure that on arrival you park your car/van/camper at the entrance and that all adults read the site rules for the weekend and sign in. If we are busy please wait as the booking in process is very fast and won't take long. If you arrive late at night and no one is awake, please make sure that you find us as soon as you are awake.
