Si_Digger
When I ultimately get round to buying a wing, I was wondering whether colour is a factor worth considering. For example, do the brighter coloured ones absorb more uv, do they also attract insects. Are there any other factors to think about? Thanks, Simon
Guest
I just know that Yellow = wasps. I had a yellow motorbike once and had my unfair share of wasp stings and splats. Black = most visible in the air. White = least effected by UV. BUT White, gets dirty quicker, of course..... Tis up to you, most get a wing to match there motor and or flying kit which I find quite bizzare SW

magmig
my first wing (edel atlas) was yellow & used to attract loads of insects etc, i was told yellow also poor UV & as someone involved in textile printing I would agree with that- as a general rule the paler the colour the worse the UV resistance.
