Norfolk Newbie, where do i start...

Hi All

Another newbie... Colin here (54) from central Norfolk.

I found this site after first stumbling upon PMC app. I’ve been flying RC models for years but after watching a group of paramotor guys having fun at the Copdock (Ipswich) bike show last year I’ve had the urge to do more I kind of pushed the idea aside but then a couple of weeks ago a pair paramotors flew over my house and the idea has returned to the front burner.

I’ve done some poking around on the web and have seen the some flying (training?)goes on at Shipdham (closest to me) or maybe Northrepps. I’m hoping that someone might be able to suggest a good person to contact to investigate training from scratch.

only school i know of in the area is UKPPG over at March i,m about to start my training there soon

ive noticed that there is training available at shipdon air feild the main diff is at UKPPG you can use there kit for the whole course

Hi Lee, I had a good look at the UKPPG website. Looks very good and I hope your training goes well there.

I think the answer to my question was posted by Chilly; I had a look at his site and will be giving him a call very soon. (Just ½ hour from the field is a big bonus).

You’re not that far away tho, our paths may cross some day...... keep right
