adventuref3dave
Very recently I broke the lower left section of my cage , lifting my assembled paramotor from my car over to my wing. Upon returning home I took a closer inspection of all 4 cage sections and noticed a crack in a weld on the upper left section. (Sections viewed from Prop side of cage ). Can this thin aluminium tube be welded ,if so where ?. How safe would such a repair be ?
Guest
The answer is yes. It can be welded, and would be stronger than the original. Used to be a place at Ilkeston, I'll see if it's still open. The other option would be racing car or motor bike shop. where do you live ?
