Guest Posted May 30, 2014 Share Posted May 30, 2014 SSDR has arrived The Civil Aviation Authority has today issued an exemption that allows all single seat microlight to be operated without the requirement to comply with airworthiness standards. This extends the previous SSDR category from the Sub 115 Kg microlights to all single seat microlights. The exemption will remain in force until the Air Navigation Order is amended, possibly in April 2015. The BMAA has been working for many years to achieve today's announcement.
