ParamotorBen
I am currently running a 2 blade 38 inch prop on a Corsair M21Y motor with a 1 to 2.6 reduction. Can anyone give me some advice as to the best way to increase the thrust, would a 4 blade prop work better or should I just rebuild a larger cage and increase my prop size? Any help would be appreciated. Ben
pete_b
The larger the prop the more efficient it is,but you could always try a 4 blade first Pete b
Guest
how about a coarser pitched 38" ? that might need a different ratio though.
martinbg
Didn't Peteb post a link to the company in the US which do ground adjustable props? They did have a maximum diameter (I seem to remember) May be worth a look. Martin
Guest
No, that was me http://www.ultralightprops.com/ppg_props/ppgprops.htm I swear by these props as do most people on the Black Devil Yahoo group. Phenomenal thrust and about the cheapest on the market. Contrary to what the website says they will make any size you like. Why not try the 3 blade and you can then find the pitch that works best for you.
martinbg
Sorry about that Ian. I obviously wasn't remembering correctly. Interesting that they will make anysize though. Martin
