Surely the field of view is obstructed a good +/- 30 degrees from dead ahead. Admittedly at level flight they could see better but during take-off and landing.....the two most critical aspects of flying????? I don't get it. But still looks like fun. You have to fly a curving approach or a sideslip if you want to see the touchdown point then lose sight of the runway completely at the last minute.
