hotwinfiles3326
Hi just wondering how you all insure your equipment. do you use your house insurance or do you use proprietary kit insurance? thanks nick
tommcb6016
Mine is covered on the house insurance while its in the house but I had to specify it all on the policy. Not sure where it stands away from the house though. Don't think the accidental damage would cover it though, might try claiming for a broken prop "I just dropped it down the stairs"
paulg18
Who is your home insurance with? I tried contacting about ten home insurance providers and upon describing what the equipment was, none of them would offer any kind of cover.
alan_k
I found the same with home insurance. As soon as they realise it has anything to do with aeronautics it was no-no. Cheers, Alan

tommcb6016
It's with Tesco, I never actually spoke to anyone! Filled it all in on the Internet you specify anything worth over £2000 and I filled it in in great detail and they never deputed it On truth they'd probably worm out of a payout if it ever came to it due to some small print :-/
