tommcb6016
Need some advise.. where my silencer joins my exhaust it is just pushed together and held by a spring, over time it has been worn away by the vibration and is getting very thin and a loose fit. I've seen some with a bit of hose between the exhaust and the silencer, is this just normal car silicone hose? or special high temp specific exhaust stuff? stuartasutherland
My mate got some from Pirtek . Plenty depots around, the guy said it would be fine for high temp and cut him a few inches. Didn't charge a penny!
custom-vince
It's a heat resistant rubber compound. What engine? I have some for corsair m25. I have used silicone tube before, you can find this stuff on eBay, when it gets hot it slides.
asquaddie
Mine perished on my Parajet. So took the part into a bike shop and it appears it is quite common on bikes. Cost me £5.99 and it went on a Honda ?????? bike – bargain. Tony

Does it need a jubilee clip each end? I will post a pick once I've fitted it Tom
