Herbie
I haven't bought a Paramotor yet. I need some advice. I'm 70kg so I don't want to lumber around a heavyweight. What are the pros and cons?

morgy
Hi Herbie If you want to come down and have a look at a motor your more than welcome... I am 75kg and fly and sell Bailey V5's (27kg) If you want super light weight you need to look at Mini Plane top 80, Parajet zenith top 80 or the air conception. regards Mark www.sussexparamotors.co.uk
lukebanks1
Herbie, I'm one of the Sussex regulars. As chance would have it I've just decided to sell my Miniplane. It's in great condition. The engine has been bomb proof reliable since I bought it 3 years ago. All thats been needed is the occasional carb kit and spark plug. I've also replaced the the clutch and all the gearbox bearings. It is the ABM version with the XL chassis and comes with the T2HA 130cm carbon prop and a repaired wooden prop. I will shortly advertise it on skyds etc. Ask around... Miniplane Top 80 is hard to beat at your weight. Hope to fly with you soon. Asking price £2000 Luke

Nathan85
Hi Herbie I'm in Southampton and also looking to take up the sport. Did you have any luck finding any local training?
bholleran
Hi Nathan, He already had training and could fly ok, it was just somewhere to fly from and kit he needed. Steve Haze - Wing and a Chair Is who I would have suggested, but he badly broke a leg some time ago and I dont know if he is still teaching.
