Curiosity
Hmmm, a carabiner that is completely invisible. Certainly interesting, but it would make pre-flight checks a little more challenging.
Treetall100
Probably come out with the invisible motor too so that the wife can't see it taking up room in the garage or basement!!!
Curiosity
All we need now is an invisible lying suit and the prospect of foot dragging down the The Mall becomes a realistic prospect. On the other gand, I'm a little worried that Simon will try and sell me an invisible wing and an invisible instructor to train me.

nigel_d.
It was there earlier guys I saw it. Magnetic carabiners, but the sexy birds demonstrating them did it for me!!!

Curiosity
OK, I guess that the curse of the iPad strikes again. I have seen the Vimeo video now. Looks quite cool, although I presume the bald headed septic is not the same as the two sexy birds someone was raving about.
flyingfergus
http://blackdiamondequipment.com/en/cli ... er&start=2 Anybody tried these carabiners yet ? Are they rated strong enough for paramotoring given the g force sometimes experienced in our sport
stuartasutherland
Looks nice, but not practical for PPG because the top of the carabiner is not level. The loop on the risers would have more pressure on one side which, although probably still perfectly safe, will wear one side much faster. In my opinion of course. davidreckitt
I like the idea...price considering. Surely they will supply different shaped cabs?
notch
Be an issue for those of us that fly from iron sand beaches...
seymore
I used climbing carabiners on a paraglider for a while and the main difference is that they are upside down. The gate opens to the wide side, whereas on paraglider carabiners the gate opens onto the narrow end. This makes them very awkward to use as they are first attached to the risers and then clip into the harness.
