Guest chrisg547
Anyone know the full rules for flying from common land? Even stuff that could come under council rule like Basingstoke and Marlborough commons.
ptwizz
I did some research into common land a few years back. The 'general' regulations allow public access for many purposes, including recreation. Among the activities given as examples is kite flying. On top of the general regulations are the local bylaws, e.g. restricting the use of motor vehicles or golf practise. Such bylaws are often (but not always) posted on signs on the land in question. Contact the county council for details.
