markpulling Posted October 27, 2012 Share Posted October 27, 2012 I wasnt even aware that the timing was adjustable or able to go out of adjustment,im aware that you can adjust the ignition gap by adjusting it on the two bolts ..the gap should be about the thickness of a piece of paper ...but ignition timing ?...would be interested how this is adjusted too ! ...... Posted October 27, 2012 Share Posted October 27, 2012 Marking the rotors position relative to say piston tdc before disassembly would be the thing to do but if its already in bits then a posting on the top80 group forum would seem to be in order.
