Guest
All, www.iflyuk.co.uk are offering discounts to paid up Paramotor Club members. There are currently 4 of us going through our NPPL (M) with iFly UK. (This will not only mean that we will all be able to fly a range of microlights, it will also mean that we can fly our quads and trikes :-) (which is the main reason for doing it) You can either talk to me about it or talk to ifly UK directly if your interested. AdEves
Hi Simon Can they test for the PP licence/rating? Ad
Guest
They can do NPPL (m) to group (a) ( I think that what your after isn't it? ) SW
AdEves
Sorry, to be clearer I was trying to figure out whether they could do the powered parachute rating on the NPPL(M) in order to cover paramotor trikes. Sounds like not, are you going somewhere else to do that afterwards?
Guest
Currently: If you gain an NPPL (M) using a Powered Parachute, you are restricted to flying such. If you gain the NPPL (M) using a 3 axis or Flex wing, there is no legally required conversion course to fly PP. SW
AdEves
Thanks Simon I assumed it would be a class rating that needed to be added to your NPPL(M). Ad
