Steve
But without Sony's new kid on the block though.
Curiosity
To my totally inexpert eye it looks like the Go Pro is the winner by some distance.
Michaelt
Agreed, Go Pros always are best for video and sound. Just a little exspensive!
gordon_dunn
Up to now I'd held the Contour HD in highest regard...... it's GoPro for me now - if I was buying.
bigpapa
Go Pros fish eye is too much for me. Everything's distorted, which for me makes it un-watchable. Plus their c**p to mount. You have to have a silly big box on your head. The bullet style ones which can mount on the side of your helmet are far better. I use contour cameras and they seem a good compromise between quality and usability. It has a similar FOV to the go pro but doesn't have the extreme fish eye. Just my view. Steve
There was a thread about this a while ago but this may well be a game changer: http://www.engadget.com/2012/08/29/sony-action-cam-hands-on/?m=false
