gordon_dunn
Pretty amazing!!! I'm surprised by the noise of the machine- even though you've eliminated the internal combustion engine, there is still a lot of noise generated by the prop as it spins..... This is an obvious inefficiency that effects all paramotors.... I wonder if there will ever be an inprovement on these?
nigel_d.
I sometimes ponder on a radical alternative to the prop, but imagine how quiet and efficient it would be to have blades 10 feet long assuming the obvious problems could be resolved also at the high torque required contra rotating blades would also be needed. I dream on... Nige
gordon_dunn
For maximum efficiency in props, a single bladed version has to be the ultimate. Never seen any manifestation of this in PPG yet, but there have been several experiments on fixed wing aircraft. Basically one blade on the hub, and a counter balance on the other side.
