dave_brown
Hi, myself Dave and Ian we both live in Plymouth, We both had a few lessons with Simon Westmore but the journey prooved too far especially just to be left on are own most of the time while Simon shouted a few things out from his camper van and then spent most of his time with his regular flying mates i was very dissapointed plus at the time the flying field was very poor full of ruts, tuffs and rabbit holes and the muddy access track was not good for a new car. I do believe now he as sorted his act out! A shame for me and Ian at the time though! We have just bought are own equipment, but are hard at kiting which is going well. We do have a nice couple of sites to fly from once we are ready, Roborough and Liskeard. Be good to hear from you, Dave and Ian.
Steve
I dream of ruts, tuffs and rabbit holes. Lucky to get something flat or without a 300' drop or a cave entrance here.

A shame for me and Ian at the time though! I was never a student of Simon's but he nevertheless helped me out on more than one occasion and I have nothing but respect for him. My BHPA instructor used to leave me alone sometimes, it was usually to practice and practice things like ground handling, which is to be expected. He did appear to fall asleep in the sun on one occasion (it was a lovely day on the hills ).
Badger
Hi Martin Very impressed with the website, as soon as I get the chance I'll give you a call and meet up, I would love to have a float about over salcombe and dart moor, if you are looking to add sites to your list Weston beach is a great place to fly from but the beach wardens like you to be able to show some sort of qualification before they will let you play. Catch up soon - hopefully! Badger
