christian
Aquanaut, I did part of my training 'abroad', it wasn't cheap (Mahoney Aviation), but it was worth every penny, and in hind sight it was money well spent. The skills themselves are not difficult to pick up, but in my opinion that is only a small part of flying. It's all the safety stuff that, both yourself and others that make a good training priceless.............not to mention all the legal, meteorology, etc.etc stuff. The quality of the training varies from place to place and you will have to satisfy yourself about that. It should'nt be any better of worse than what is on offer in England. The advantage of training abroad is the weather...........hopefully you will be able to compress your training into a week or two and have consecutive days training. This means that you can totally immerse yourself in Paramotoring...........which is not a bad way to start. Stick with it, the prize at the end is well worth it.
