ChrisWork
Hello! As I have had trouble getting cover in the past, thought I would share that I have recently come across a new provider of Paramotoring insurance covering me for my upcoming trip. Harrison Beaumont Sport Insurance have started covering us. I gave them a call on 0844 875 3506 and arranged the cover and it was a reasonable price too. I know of a few other providers, but it is always useful to have more to shop around for prices etc. Who do you guys use?
clivefreeman
Just phoned them and they do not cover for third party. Which you would need in most places in the uk
tommcb6016
in anticipation of being shouted at cos i know a lot on here are anti-bhpa or refuse to acknowledge their existence but if you are that bothered about insurance why not do your power rating with bhpa and they will cover you 3rd party with your yearly membership which is about £100/year same as you would expect to pay any other insurer and you get a shinyshit mag that rattles on about pg and hangies.... just sayin'you never know, you might learn something new and realise you got holes in your knowledge.... So is there a quick and cheap way for existing pilots to "convert" to the bhpa system ?
bilbosmeggins
thats a question you need to ask your local bhpa school...from memory i think its about £300 to do power rating if you can demonstrate you can launch/land/fly ok.... Or do it at Airways. A snip at £
