ifty
Hi, I have a peltor headset and have been trying it with my puxing 888 radio and it doesn't seem to work. What radio will I have to purchase to work with the peltor? My friend Tim has a MicroAvionics helmet and he has the same problem as me. Maybe we need to buy a PMR radio instead. I'll keep on looking on how to resolve this issue.
morgy
The leads on peltor headsets are meant to be used with the radio you spec when you buy it. If yours is second hand you will need to find out the type. if you put up a photo i might be able to tell you what radio it is...
tommcb6016
Is the peltor set a micro avionics set or just a generic set? I had the same problem with mine as the headset was wired for icom, but I had a puxing 888 I tried making an adaptor with help from some great members of the forum but gave up as I'm useless I sent mine to Eddie at micro avionics to have it rewired to suit the puxing, should get it back tomorrow
