gordon_dunn
Just a simple flight simulator, but uses Google Earth as background and terrain map- so you can simulate flight over detailled views of your local environment- or anywhere for that matter. Very handy for familiarising yourself with new sites, or practicing navigation exercises,etc.. You need to download and run a small file to get the joystick to work- but it's better than using the keys. Link is- http://www.ge-flightsimulator.com/gefs.php Google Earth itself has a flight sim built in- but the joystick calibration is messed up- throttle is rudder, etc.. no power command on joystick... so not much use. You only have the choice of 2 planes, whereas on GE you have 5 or 6, one heli and even a hot air balloon. Regards, GD
