norbertflyer
Didn't expect to fly from there today, but the track up to my new site at Clent was too iced up for the car to get near the field. Two flights of 1hr 23m and 1hr 44m saw a very good day of airtime (NE 4mph all day and quite warm in the sun). The final flight managed to catch up with G-ORGY red balloon (great reg!, better than my G-NORB). Surprised not to see anyone else there. Catch you next time. Richard. norbertflyer
Hi Jock, didn't go that far north. The furthest I went was about 3k south of Droitwich in that direction, about 215pm. Must've been someone else. Also a little misty to see that far. There were some tiny thermals from the housing estates and farm buildings. I had 200ft/min (engine off) from the clay works south of Upton. Quite good for January. Will be good for flapping today, if the viz allows. Richard.
