alan_k
Up to the field again on Saturday with Matthieu arriving shortly after I got there. The president of the club Michel was on a lesson in his microlight (X Air) and another microlight came in as we were setting up, a Challenger. Took off into a fabulously blue sky, here is Matthieu: The visibility was superb, tried to capture it on photo but it never quite looks the same: As I was flying around Prissac I wanted to catch the suns reflection in the fishing lake but the sun was quite low at this time. I decided I would have had to be too low for safe photography so flew over the Lac and took the reflection of a high contrail instead: There always seem to be a lot of bonfires at this time of year so it’s always easy to tell the wind direction. This one was close and had a nicely illuminated smoke trail: By the end of the flight my triceps were aching, probably due to having been log splitting and chain sawing earlier in the day This is Matthieu gliding in fast to land: Back up the field later today hopefully, what a good month, Cheers, Alan
