Guest
It has a built in GPS (which you can track on google if it gets stolen!!) and it automatically geo tags the shots. The Depth of Field is genuine 'cinematic' quality, as is the 35mm sensor With this camera, we can fill a full size cinema screen and it will still be FULL HD. I have to admit I am very excited about getting this. Sleepless night tonight I recon. SW

Guest
It is tax deductible yes, BUT I think it will be a while before http://www.aerial-footage.co.uk as a business makes anywhere close to enough money to need to pay that much tax I hope I am wrong of course. asquaddie
Jealous or what!! Do you know the file format it saves in? ' The NEX-FS100EK shoots in the AVCHD recording format for HD footage, but can also shoot to the standard definition MPEG-2 format. Additional uncompressed 4:2:2 footage with embedded SMPTE Time-code can be outputted via HDMI and recorded onto external media such as HDD. Built in GPS can be utilised to geo tag photos, locations can even be tracked via Google maps and the GPS data extracted with a PC' Answered my own question

garyfreefly
DONT DROP IT..... AND if you are thinking of flying with it (I am sure you are) will it be insured for that activity.....Check the small print..on the policy
Guest
I have just taken out insurance today for that exact same thing I am even covered if the Camera injures me LOL No messing about with this company, we are working with some very serious people who require all of the paperwork to be in place. We can travel globally, and drop it on someones head and still be covered. And of course, I wanted it insured in case Pete brakes it. Guest
Pete and I got some aerial footage on the edge of dartmoor a few days ago with this camera. We are not publishing it until we have enough variation of footage to create our showreel. It is though as expected awesome! Thank F for that LOL SW
