wiatroda
Hi I'm new to this forum and paramotoring altogether. I've been always dreaming about flying. Not long ago I obtained Paraglider+ motor. Sadly I can't afford too much training. Contacted few schools, but they said EP first + paramotor conversion which gives £1100 + . I'm aware of all danger of flying without training, but it looks like that's the only option for me. The question is : Is it illegal to fly PPG without professional training???? Any possibility to find some PPG pilot who can learn to fly? Mariusz

Mariusz No but strongly not recommended, and it will work out dearer with all the bits you will damage and have to replace.
wiatroda
Can you let us know where you are based and we will be able to advise better? I live in Wolverhampton. Forgot to mention I did few days of ground handling and read two books about PPG. That's sounds maybe silly, but at least I have some idea about flying. ricky
Whichever way you look at it you’re going to have to travel a bit. I'm in Walsall and train with pete_b at Membury. When I have the time that is Your welcome to jump in with me when i next have a training day and see what its all about. I think you will be impressed. That’s if Pete doesn’t mind? ricky
Usually weekends. Hoping to get down next Sunday if the weathers okay and Pete’s out. I should know Friday/Saturday if I’m going. Check back here nearer the weekend and I’ll let you know
