matt_k
I have recently over hauled my Pap top 80 with a new piston and ring, new exhaust and a good old clean up and i am now getting up to 10,000 rpm (was 9300rpm). Although i never go to this much revs often but is it too much? The manual says 9200-9700
pete_b
No as long as you dont stay on full throttle all the time. You will find that when flying it will not get to that anyway
fanman
Some people deliberately prop them to rev over 10,000 rpm anyway. Personally I'm not happy if I'm getting less than 9700 with a standard prop.
