matt_k
Hi When fitting new springs to the clutch (after 2005 model) do you have to remove the clutch from engine to fit springs or do them while attached.
markpulling
Matt hi, its really wierd I have just fitted new springs to my pap top 80 myself only yesterday, dont try and fit them while the clutch is still on ,as I tried to for the first time and nearly knocked myself out with a pair of pliers !!you will never get them on that way,I called skydragons to check and yes you have to take the clutch off,the way I did it was to remove the clips and slide the clutch plates off,fit springs and then ease it all back over the round drive lining up the pins, but was told that you can also undo the large nut in the middle by holding the clutch plates with an oil filter strap or similar just make sure to protect the friction material ..hope this helps MARK (POOLE DORSET)
