kill switch

Maplin or RS Components should stock whatever switch you require.

Personally I believe every paramotor should also be fitted with an emergency kill cord (same as quad bikes, scramblers, powerboats & jet ski's) - such as this one : http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110553300324&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT

Mine is fitted from the cage over the left shoulder strap so easy to grab with either hand or by someone else if I get into trouble .... It will also kill the engine automatically if the reserve is ever thrown.

Hi jasonkennedy

maplins do a push to connect button which cost about £1 40

what you have to do is undo the nut in the throttle handle pull the old switch out ,re solder the red and black wire back on and refit it in reverse order, and add a bit of nut lock to be safe :D

regards mark
