amc1929
hi i was wondering could anyone point me in the right direction for some paramotor training in france, i'm going there on holidays on the 21st july 2010, im staying close to Nice. I'm new to sport so mainly wing work probably. Any help much appreciated. Thanks
alan_k
How is your French? I managed to find a local instructor who also spoke English, fortunately for me. If it's just wing work you are thinking of I'm sure any local pilots would give you advice and demonstrations. I have a listing of clubs and instructors, can you be more specific as to your holiday location? amc1929
Hi Im staying at a place called Camp du Pylone, Ave Pylone, Antibes in France, Thanks for your help
alan_k
Antibes is in area 06. There are no listings for PPG instructors in area 06. There are 3 microlight clubs listed, that would be your best bet to enquire, some microlighters also fly PPG. savage
One of the best UK BHPA / BMAA instructors is now based in Laragne, which is not too far away. http://www.mahonyaviation.com/ Having recently returned from a weeks family holiday there, I can say the flying area is amazing (the family loved it too) and Paul is very highly recommended for any type of paraglider/ paramotor / paratrike training / rental / guiding. druffuk
Hey Alan, Would it please be possible to PM me a comprehensive list of schools in France as I'm planning a trip next year and would love to get some training while out there and also the chance to meet some local pilots. Thanks in advance
alan_k
Hi Druff, No can do I'm afraid, I only have a paper printed booklet listing the clubs and instructers. I don't fancy typing the whole lot in I can give you a few if you're specific as to where you're going, Cheers, Alan
