Guest
All, This morning our club 'objets' or (constitution) were accepted by companies house and the Paramotor Club became an official Not-for-profit club / organization. In a few days time (15th is still looking good) you will be able to join the club as either a basic member (anyone without a PPG1) or a full member (anyone with a PPG1+) If you are currently in your training as a PPG1 please contact me when the insurance goes live. This level has been created so that when the insurance talks are finished the PPG1 rated people will have access to the better deal (via there membership) Also as of this day, every single penny made in profit from this club will be paid into it's own account for future use by the club. It will be fully accounted for and audited once a year. (monthly accounts available to members.) As I said in another post, not one member of this committee will be getting paid to fill the position, or control / own any of it's assets. It your money and will remain so. Once we have a pot of cash we can start to think of some great things to do with it. It's then that we will grow and flourish. (even more ) We can also take donations from members and members of the public to raise money for the club, so if your feeling flush for a tenner or two let me know Well, it took 2 days longer than expected but it's now 100% done and dusted. Company is (Limited by Guarantee) and the number is 7276880. SW
surrey-dad
That's great news ! What with this and the great new training location - things are really looking rosey for PMC and PPG members ! You have done a fantastic job on both fronts Simon - and all credit to you for all your efforts (and those helping you behind the scenes). Cheers, Andy

Guest
The Registered office address is my house at the moment, if my plan goes to plan, it will soon have it's own address based from my (training office) Best way to donate at this stage would be cheque (no charges) payable to 'Paramotor Club'. Guest
Due a couple of PM's.... To make it clear, I will of course be very much involved with the ongoing growth of the Paramotor Club both On and Offline. This is a natural 'expansion' that is required for us to be our best. I am not going anywhere in a hurry. SW

darkwing
I'm not sure what this all means in terms of English law as I am an overseas member. Does this affect me / other overseas members in any way?
Guest
In short, No. SW
