Hi All,

Can anybody come along to the flyin, sounds like good fun.

I am a new pilot, I now have 6 hours ish and will hopefully increase that quite a bit in the next few weeks, weather permitting!

Regards

Henry

:wingover:

Hi Henry, yes as has been said, all are welcome.

infact if you are a new member of the forum and are thinking of taking up the sport then why not pop along and get a feel for what its all about.

if you are a student pilot then why not come along and enjoy the show, as a student you can really benefit from hanging around and chatting to more experience flyers, picking up tips and seeing how its done.

Also if anyone has any paramotor related kit they may want to sell, then why not bring it along as one of our number may be interested in taking it off your hands.

If anyone can come along and help prep the site the weekend before that would be a great help, nothing too back breaking just mowing the grass and having a general sort out.

Dave.

Si as probably the largest and most menacing figure at the fly in, you have now been given the task of our official complaints department, :D

All those in favour say "AYH"

Well I am not a bad chioce as it goes. I do like the excitemnt of a good telling off, especially by dominatrix style ladies !

I have had such a breadth of experience of being told off that I have become quite adept at calming people down.

I remember shaking a police womens hand and asking her if she would like to join our stag do as she was telling me off at 4am in the morning on a boat in maidenhead.

which we later set adrift.

I remained unarrested

alas she refused.

Happy to accept.

Cheers Simon

Not forgetting the recent telling off for driving down the runway at Membury of course!

SW :D

Reminds me of a taleI heard about a Chinook pilot at Odiham.

A 'track' day was being held on the airfield and one pilot had just taken reciept of a new (second/third/fourth? hand) sports car. Unfortunately he didn't steer round the 'track' and went straight off the end of the runway over the adjacent road and into a field.

The RAF Police weren't interested as it was an official event so he was allowed on the airfield anyway and the civvieold bill weren't interested as the farmer didn't want to make a complaint and the 'pilot' (both of aircraft and automobiles) hadn't actually been on the public highway.

That's the story m'Lud!

We have a paramotor club at Byfield, only 6 miles away, Some of us will be attending the event, im sure it would be ok to land at our site and take off again, or if you only want to fly one way, you could take off from Byfield to Tanksalot.

Looking forward to this.
