alan_k Posted July 25, 2011 Share Posted July 25, 2011 You won't notice any difference to the sound or anything, they are to help prevent any RF breakthrough or pops and clicks when you transmit. There is usually one fitted in the microphone but another does no harm, particularly with connectors that can become worn or have raised contact resistance through lots of use.
