matt_k Posted April 25, 2010 Share Posted April 25, 2010 Just wondered what is your best conditions to fly in- Dawn,Dusk and preffered wind speed, the wind here over the last couple of days has been around 10-15mph which is a bit too windy for me at the moment. Guest Posted April 25, 2010 Share Posted April 25, 2010 Try to think of it more as the 'variation' of wind speed. A 12-mph laminar airflow is great to fly in, but 3mph to 12mph is no fun at all. (its been gusting up to way over that over the last few days. As far as best conditions, it just has be be a silky nil wind sunset flight for me every time.
