alan_k
With the wind being so slight today I flew to a new microlight strip this morning with the option in my mind to fly back again later. I filled the tank up to the maximum 11 litres so I would not have any issues with fuel and got Shirley to drop me off at the field. The wind was so slight there wasn't any So all set up, nil wind launch at max all up weight, a bit wobbly but I was off. I did a circuit to gain some height and then set off on the required compass heading. Conditions were great so I took a few pictures on the way, the first was of a little place called Les Herolles. alan_k
Delighted you have Dan, what program/tool do you use to do it Cheers, Alan
dantheman
Adobe Photoshop Elements 6.0, it's got some really easy to use features such as "auto fix" which usually tidies up a photo and lighting slider controls so you can lighten the shadows which is all I do to get rid of the haze. alan_k
Here is an image from last nights flight which I have de-hazed using Paint Shop Pro. I am very pleased with the result and it was an enjoyable evening flight. Cheers, Alan
dantheman
Nice one, it's well worth doing, especially to the afternoon/evening photos where the low sun & dust in the air creates more haze than usual on the photos. Try some morning photos and you will find they have much sharper colours
