Learning to fly Nr Nottingham - Recommendation Required

I am thinking of taking up paramotoring with my other half but would like the recommendation of a suitable instructor within, say, an hour of Nottingham.

There appears to be contradictory advice about length and quality of training required and available. I am a former microlight pilot and my better half is very much a novice to this kind of thing, therefore quality of instruction is important if she is not to be deterred.

Therefore I would be very pleased to receive suitable advice.

Airways at Darley Dale perhaps? Some seem to have found them a bit keen to relieve you of your cash, but I don't recall hearing any bad stories about the quality of training.

Very kind of you all to reply. I have signed up for a course with Airways and have had 2 lessons already. It is a great set up and thoroughly enjoyed it. It is only 45 minutes form Nottingham.

Good choice. I trained with Airways a few years ago and found whilst it was not cheap, they were very good.

The winch training was perfect as by the time you got to play with the motor you were already confident with wing control and circuits.
