fanman
330 is later than the 320 but they are becoming tricky to find parts for. They are also exceedingly heavy but very very powerful and were the tandem machine of choice until modern motors like the Simonini came along. If you are a heavy weight then you might find life easier with one of the Fresh Breeze Simo's that come up every now and then for similar money or even less. Frame parts are well supported by Paul Bailey. What weight are you and what experience?
ding2bling
Hi Thanks for that I see jpx still have a full web site of engine parts online I am a new pilot so 1st machine but running to a budget so trying to get best machine for my money and it looks a lovely made piece of kit Weight wise im 14 stone
fanman
IMO at 14st there are more suitable motors out there for similar price second hand. A Bailey JPX 330 is overkill unless you are 16+ stone and on a tight budget. As a starter the phenomenal weight to achieve an excess of thrust that is not helpful at this stage is likely to be more offputting than helpful. At your weight you could fly almost any machine out there.
