bignos
Hi all, currently i am using a cheap altimeter watch that has other functions that i never use plus a garmin geko which is small and shows me the right data on one screen - time moving, speed, vertical speed and trip distance. Does anyone know of a watch / wrist unit that will do these things as well or better??

bignos
hi, thanks for the feedback, do either have automatic logging? ie it starts recording the distance / time moving when you set off, or do you manually have to start it?
dantheman
Mine is manual logging, and that's only for height not distance, the XLANDER does not have GPS, it's still a very accurate tool and I love the fact that it's always there if you just have a quick flight and don't want to take any clutter up with you. flyingdoc
Talking about the Suunto x10, I have been reading up a little about it but the altimeter and navigation screens are on separate sections. Can the be used together and just flick between them? Sorry if this is a dumb question. Thinking about using it as back up nav with my iphone Motion X/GPS or vice versa.... Anyone use these a lot??? bignos
doc, i think they are on differnt screens, but you can switch between them, on "activity" screen you can have height, speed and time elapsed, but you also have the track back function
