tommcb6016
Nice one Dave, I was going to take off from the field next to my house today but it was too gusty Tom
Farmer_Dave
Same here Tom. 20 knots yesterday and up and down 10 each side of that. Might've made some interesting groundhandling if you had an 11 metre wing. Certainly wasn't tempted to get a 26 out. Did want to though. Nice to hear you have a field local to you. Makes all the difference. I count myself very lucky indeed. Dave

surrey-dad
Yertiz bays. flying today...Dave. Now drying his boots ! And still smiling Nice clip Dave. Not surprised by your smile - perfect (if parky) weather, great countryside and the FT barely idling to lift your slimmed down figure skywards Andy
Farmer_Dave
Andy I wish it was so. I put back on one of the 2 stone I lost. Still getting 550 ft/min climb rate. Didn't feel cold. Only the throttle finger. Lots of wriggling around, weightshifting and fighting the torque, kept I warm. Only a summer suit but the thermal base layer really works well.
