edwardc
Field was a bit waterlogged but not too bad as Tom, John, Fast Eddie, Big Simon and myself turned up eager to get in the air after this bad weather spell! Most of us got in a couple of flights this afternoon and I had to go up to take photos as, apparently, they were compulsory for this weekend. The GSC props on my PAP were set at 14.5 degrees pitch for the first test flight and it was 'spot on' so only too pleased to do a 'photo flight'. Good to see that you guys managed to get in a couple of flights today Eddie, and test out your prop.Nice pics - but a hell of a lot of water still down there on terra ferma. But suppose would make any emergency landing a bit softer Talking of soft landings in mud, I haven't seen Phil_P around for a while Does anyone know if he was due to get his new (bionic) hip fitted before Xmas ? Guest
Nice one guys! I was teaching a day 1 yesterday, (in the rain) and am now surrounded by damp wings lol It looks like the wind is going to be gusting to 20mph by lunchtime so am more than likely going to bin the training for today and have a quick hour in the air this morning. 'or late this afternoon' It's great to see some flying pics again! it seems like forever since we had a nice flow of them. Those that are coming... see you in a 6 days at the party !!!
